The Rajiv Gandhi college of Nursing was started with B.Sc (N) from the academic year 2002 following by M.Sc (N), P.B.B.Sc (N) and GNM courses by eminent educationist and professionals from the city of Bangalore under Jayanagar Modern Education Society® . These educationists had a strong desire to form a career in uplifting and serving mankind and started with Nursing programme. The programmes conducted in our college are affiliated to RGUHS, INC & KNC.

The college believe that Nursing profession aims to provide service to humanity hence philosophy was formulated to fulfill social and educational needs of the society. The achievement of country’s health and social goal depends on health professional's including nurses in saving life and relieving suffering.

The college has excellent classrooms, seminar hall, study rooms and others with variety of Audio visual equipments to support and supplement effective teaching and also provide a conductive environment for learning. All the classroom is well furnished with CCTV facilities.
Our college has huge collection of text books, reference book, foreign and Indian Journal, encyclopedias, dictionaries and other books. The reading room offers Newspaper and magazines. Every year books are added based on the suggestion of the faculties and students. We have free internet facilities access for the students.
Our hostel cater to the individual needs of the students. We have the separate hostel facilities for the boys and girls. Our hostel provide feast of delicious vegetables and non vegetables served in spacious and clean dining halls. Hostel is provided with TV lounge, STD/ISD/Fax and other facilities for the student in the campus.
Ragging is strictly prohibited in the hostel as well as in the college.
Our college have high-tech buses for the transportation facilities for the students for posting in Various hospitals, camps, excursion and extra-curricular activities.
