Admission Criteria
Bsc Nursing
- Candidates shoud have should have successfully completed two years of Pre University
examination conducted by Department of Pre-University Education from recognized board or
university and should . obtain a minimum of not less than 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry,
Biology and English (PCBE) taken together in the qualifying examination.
- The candidate should have completed 17 years on or before 31st day of December of the year
of admission.
- Candidate shall be medically fit.
Msc Nursing
- Passed B.Sc Nursing (Basic) or Post B.Sc in Nursing or Post certificate B.Sc Nursing of
RGUHS, Karnataka or any other university accepted as equivalent by Rajiv Gandhi University
of health science, Karnataka.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience after obtaining B.Sc Nursing (Basic), in a hospital or in
Nursing educational institution or in community health setting. For candidates with post
Basic B.Sc Nursing degree no such experience is needed after graduation.
- Registered in State Nursing council as Registered Nurse & Registered Midwife.
P.B B.Sc Nursing
A Candidate seeking admission shall have: -
- Hold a diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)
- Be a registered Nurse
- Candidate shall be medically fit.
- Have good personal & professional Record
- Age limit of candidate should not exceed 48 years as on 31st December of the year of
admission.
